In-person sign-up sessions for ABC's youth recreational soccer program (2016 season) have already been held, however...
ABC will continue to accept late registrations on an "as space available" basis. We do all we can to place everyone on a team, but eventually teams do fill up (even newly created ones), so we cannot make an absolute guarantee of placement on a team. Late registrations are processed in the order received, so the sooner you send your information, the better your chances of being placed.
To submit a late registration, go to the Contact ABC page and send the following information:
-- Name of player (child)
-- Full date of birth (month/day/year)
-- Gender (male / female)
-- Name of parent/guardian
-- Best contact telephone number
-- Indicate if you are willing to assist with coaching or managing a team
You will be contacted if there is available space on a team in your child's age group.
Who can play?
Boys (age 4 through 13) and girls (age 4 through 17) are eligible to play. Players MUST be at least 4 years old BY September 11, 2016 (opening day for ABC soccer). Only recreational level teams play in ABC's soccer league. See the soccer age chart for specific age divisions and date cutoffs.
There are no residency requirements to play in ABC's youth sports programs. ABC Ball Park is a not-for-profit private youth sports organization and is collectively owned by the families whose children participate in its sports programs. If you can get here, you can play here!
What is the cost?
There is no initial cost to register as an individual player at ABC. Players pay their share of the team fee when placed on a team. Team registration fees are:
$200 - U-6 (4 and 5 year old training league teams - 4 on 4) – 10 game season
$375 - U-8 (6 and 7 year old training league teams - 6 on 6) – 10 game season
$600 - U-9 and U-10 (8 on 8) – 12 game season
$750 - Older than U-10 (U-12, U-14, HS) – 12 game season
Photo ID Cards
Photo ID cards are required for all soccer players. Those needing a photo ID card for the upcoming season must come to one of the ID Card sessions scheduled prior to the season.
Bring the following:
- Proof of age (birth certificate, expired ID, etc.)
- $5.00 for the cost of the ID card
- The player (preferably with a smiling face!)
ID cards are valid for 3 years. ID cards used for other ABC sport programs are valid for all ABC youth sports. Let the sign up session staff know if you have an ID from another sport or an old expired ID (it can be used in lieu of a birth certificate!).
When are the games played?
The 2016 season will begin on Sunday, September 11 and continue into early November.
Games are typically played on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and all day Sunday (beginning at 12:00 noon). Additional days of the week may be scheduled depending on need.
Youth league teams play a 12 game season. Training league teams (U-6 and U-8 age groups) play 10 games.
When are the practices?
Practice schedules are determined by each individual team.
