Basketball - Sign-ups for 2022 Season

Come join in the fun with ABC Ball Park's youth recreational basketball program...
In-person sign-up sessions for individuals and teams (girls and boys ages 4 to 14) for ABC's youth recreational basketball program (2022 season) have already been held, however...

ABC will continue to accept late registrations on an "as space available" basis.   We do all we can to place everyone on a team, but eventually teams do fill up (even newly created ones), so we cannot make an absolute guarantee of placement on a team.  Late registrations are processed in the order received, so the sooner you send your information, the better your chances of being placed on a team.

To submit a late registration, go to the Contact ABC page and send the following information:
     -- Name of player (child)
-- Full date of birth (month/day/year)
     -- Gender (male / female)
     -- Name of parent/guardian
     -- Best contact telephone number
-- Indicate if you are willing to assist with coaching or managing a team

You will be contacted if there is available space on a team in your child's age group.
NOTE:  If you were on an ABC team two years ago (remember, 2021 season wasn't played ...) and intend on playing for the same team again this year, you do not need to re-register.  Please contact your team manager or coach to make sure they know you are returning.

The creation of teams depends on having parents or other adults help to coach and operate the team.  Youth sports league teams can only exist with responsible parental/adult involvement.  If you are interested and want to know what is involved in coaching or running a team, just ASK!
Who can play?
Age levels for Youth League basketball teams teams are 8 through 14.  Younger players (4 to 7 year olds -- with birth dates from 2014 through 2017) are eligible to participate in ABC's Training League program.
Only recreational level teams are allowed to play in ABC's basketball program.

See the basketball age chart for the specific age division assignment based on date of birth.  Players MUST be at least 4 years old BEFORE January 1, 2022 and cannot be over 14 years old on January 1, 2022.
Where is ABC Ball Park?

What is the cost?
There is no initial up front cost to register as an individual player at ABC.  Players pay their share of the team fee when placed on a team.  The fee shown below is for an ENTIRE TEAM -- this amount is divided equally among all team players.
Team registration fees are:
$450 - Training League teams (Pee Wee 1 and Pee Wee 2) – 10 game season
     $725 - Youth League (ages 8 through 14) – 10 game season
Once placed on a team, additional costs may be incurred for team expenses – such as for uniforms and/or team equipment, when needed.  While teams are encouraged to keep these expenses as low as possible, players and parents should be aware that these costs depend on the decisions made by the team as a whole and are shared among all players.
Teams may attempt to offset these additional costs (and perhaps even the team fee) by obtaining sponsors, conducting fund raisers, etc.  These activities, when conducted, are the sole responsibility of each team.
Photo ID Card?
Photo ID's are required for all basketball players.  New players to ABC or those with expired ID's must come to one of the scheduled ID card sessions scheduled prior to the season.  Read more for currently scheduled dates…
Bring the child (for a "photo” ID), proof of age (birth certificate or expired ID card), and $5.00.
ID cards are valid for 3 years and can be used for all ABC sport programs.  If you have a non-expired ID card from another sport, it can also be used for baseball.
