Many of your favorite "men and women in stripes" will be back again this season, but we're always looking for those who know the game and enjoy being a part of our youth sports programs. Of course, getting paid for it helps!!
We welcome experienced referees, but even if you have not refereed before, training will be provided to you at no cost. Referees must be at least 14 years old. Adults are certainly welcome, too.
Referee Orientation and First Training Session
- Wednesday, December 14 -- 6:30 to 8:00 pm -- in the Field House at ABC
Referee On-Court Training Clinic --
- Monday, December 19 -- 6:30 to 8:00 pm -- in the Field House at ABC
Attendance is required at both sessions for you to complete the training.
Training will include an introduction to basketball officiating, rules reviews, and on-court referee mechanics clinics.
